As for LOUD, they will go up against DetonatioN FocusMe tomorrow as well. The winner of that best-of-five series will go on to face Royal Never Give Up. Impact was the only player in the entire match that had zero deaths. On top of that, Impact also added nine kills and 10 assists to his game....

EG are one-third of the way there. That loss now puts G2 in a perilous position as they are currently tied with EG at 1-3. From the draft onwards, EG looked the more composed and collected of the two. G2 ended the game with just two kills, one drake, and one outer turret to their name. EG’s fates are currently in their own hands in their following match against JD....

Image: LoL Esports Evil Geniuses picked up its second win of the day against Beyond Gaming. Evil Geniuses had a really great day today, earning back-to-back wins against LOUD and Beyond Gaming. At this point however, we saw a fight go down in defense of EGs bottom lane turret. Jojopyun missed no chances in this game, taking kills where he could get them left and right. Next up, well see DRX go up against Saigon Buffalo!...

The LCS finally gets going. Evil Geniuses finally got going at Worlds 2022 with a much-needed victory against LOUD. The LCS squad suffered a terrible loss yesterday but came back swinging today. LOUD is now 1-2 with only two games remaining to decide their fate at their first international event. EG had to work for that victory though as LOUD did not go quietly. The CBLOL champs refused to be silenced and were the much better team to start the match....

The winner will move on to the best-of-five qualification series on the group stage. EG made sure to not repeat the same mistakes they did against DFMearlier today. Both teams stuck with the same top lane champions, Aatrox for EG and Gnar for DFM. From the early game, EG looked like they had learned from their past mistakes. For most of the teamfights, EG came out on top for the majority of them....

Hopefully, that record stays unbroken for NA. The region cant possibly go 0-18… right? The fifth match of the day saw Gen.G Esports take on Flying Oyster. GAM Esports took on DRX in the final match of the day. By the 22-minute mark, we saw DRX force GAM back into its base. DRX took the win.

Reigning champions EDward Gaming are on the board for Worlds 2022. Fnatic now leads Group A with 2-0 while EDG and T1 trail closely behind at 1-1 each. First up was Fnatic versus T1. Fnatics prowess was nothing to scoff at however, and it showed in this matchup. Despite T1s efforts however, Fnatic slayed the Baron and started poking into the enemy base soon enough. It took two tries, but Fnatic managed to break through and seize a well-deserved win....

Do the LEC dare to dream? They managed to withstand the onslaught that was DetonatioN FocusMe of the LJL and grind out another hard-fought win. As for DFM, they will be wondering where did it all go wrong for them. While DFM was leading in kills, Fnatic was getting the better of them in the economy department. With DFM forced to contest, they were jumped upon by Fnatic right outside the pit....

Chief suffered another kill by the 15-minute mark but managed to snag a dragon to make up for it. Next, well see DetonatioN FocusMe go up against LOUD.

Fnatic comes out on top despite the off-field issues. Unlike the first game, both Fnatic and EG started the game out at a much slower pace. Fnatic even managed to snag the second drake while EG could only watch. Despite all that, EG managed to still pick off Marek “Humanoid” Brazda a little while later. Fnatic was even able to take the third drake without any contest from EG. Fnatic soon took the fourth drake and headed straight for EG’s base....

Fnatic bounces back to the top of Group A after defeating Beyond Gaming. After an unlikely loss against LOUD yesterday, Fnatic puts any doubt to bed by sweeping aside Beyond Gaming. This puts them at the top of Group A while Beyond Gaming slips down to fifth. It was an emphatic win from Fnatic, keeping Fnatic at arm’s length for most of the match. However, he does die in return after having dived a little too deep under the middle lane turret....

The LEC looks miles ahead right now. G2 Esports took apart Evil Geniuses swiftly and cleanly, putting aside the blemishes theysuffered on day one. From the start to finish, G2 had EG on the ropes. EG could only muster two kills that entire game, which meant that three of G2 had perfect KDA. G2’s win over EG also signifies that the LEC are currently miles ahead of the LCS. We now head over to Group A with Fnatic taking on T1....
