The LJL are here to stay. They will face the winner of the third- and the fourth-placed team from Group B. They also bested the PCS by defeating Beyond Gaming yesterday. It was a tight match from start to end with both teams keeping their cards close to their chest. It was also DFM who took the first outer turret. DFM was able to respond in kind, especially when it came to contesting drakes or rift heralds....

All they needed was some focus. DFM already went through asevere loss against Fnaticearlier today but managed to turn things around with this win. As for the Chiefs, they are now at the bottom of Group A. As for DFM, they will be BYG’s first opponent of the day tomorrow. While DFM did lose Yaharong, they did take four from the LCO champions. This was followed up by some superb play from both Yaharong and Yuta “Yutapon” Sugiura with Kai’Sa....

The Worlds 2022 Quarterfinals came to an end today with a best-of-five series between EDward Gaming and DRX. DRX came out of these games victorious by winning a close 3-2 series against EDG. The victors will advance to the Finals, taking place on November 6. The team once again wiped out DRX and stomped its base for a second win....

That win also proves to be historic from the player’s perspective. Having forced the fifth game, it could have been anyone’s championship at this point. Even Gumayusi got in on the trend of Baron stealing against DRX. But when push came to shove, it was DRX who proved to be the better team overall....

DRX goes through to the grand finals in only their second appearance at Worlds. With T1 already through to its fourth grand finals at Worlds, this will be DRX’s first-ever appearance. The LCK fourth seed has also created history at the League of Legends World Championship. DRX has been on aCinderella story runas of late and the grand finals will be their toughest test yet. However, DRX should not be counted out given how exceptionally they’ve performed when it mattered most....

Image: LoL Esports Isurus has been eliminated from the Play-ins after a 0-4 streak of losses. Thus far, it wasnt paying off. Just four minutes later, DRX marched into Isurus base and claimed an overwhelming victory. Isurus has been eliminated from the Play-in Knockout contention, unfortunately.

Rogue and DRX will be next seen in the Knockout Stage, which begins on October 21. 20 minutes in, Top Esports was dominating the game with four objectives and a strong 7k gold lead. Rogue was playing desperately at this point, but couldnt help slipping the further this match went on. Rogue started losing Tier 3 turrets and soon after, Top Esports was on the Nexus....

Image: LoL Esports DRX dominates a match against Saigon Buffalo on Day 2. As it turns out, neither team was willing to take any immediate risks in this match. DRXs Juhan meanwhile, chipped away at the dragon while SGB remained clueless of his efforts. The team suffered some losses after a teamfight but stubbornly pushed into a second fight over a dragon anyway. They scored the dragon, but got entirely wiped out by DRX in the process....

The LCK is looking strong at Worlds 2022. But that win was more than just a best-of-one for both teams. G2 sent DWG home in the quarterfinals of Worlds 2019. DWG did the same the following year in the semifinals while going on to win it as well. G2 would’ve been looking for revenge today but it will have to wait for now. Heo “ShowMaker” Su was one of DWG’s standout performers in that game versus G2....

It’s looking like it will be an exciting final day for Group B. With that win, DWG.KIA solidifies their second place in Group B after defeating Evil Geniuses. For the most part, the early game saw both teams keeping things close to the chest. It was mostly even from the early-to-mid-game portion. Given their team composition, EG made it difficult for themselves to defend their turrets whenever DWG came knocking....

He managed to claim six kills, the most on his team while also providing four assists. With DWG’s win, both they and JD Gaming have officially qualified for the playoffs. Now all that matters is who finishes at the top of the group....

Fnatic ensures the LEC are still number one. This was back in the semifinals of Worlds 2018. Fnatic has also carried over the momentum from their Play-In Stage, where they convincingly topped the group. NA has never faired well against EU squads and it’s starting to look like that’s the case. Only Zdravets “Hylissang” Iliev Galabov secured one assist more to go with his additional death.

Evil Geniuses and DetonatioN FocusMe come out with the W on day three. This also sets up a crucial match between both CHF and BYG later. In a must-win match, EG made sure that they were clinical from minute one. For the most part, EG was able to keep CHF on a tight leash. It was very much unlike the earlier game between BYG and DFM. His performance with Kai’Sa saw him die just three times while amassing 12 kills and 11 assists....
