A team of veterans under a new flag. The PCS has long been dominated by PSG Talon since its inception in 2020. That win puts CTBC Flying Oyster straight into the group stage. But who is CTBC Flying Oyster? Owned by the privately-owned Taiwanese bank CTBC, it also has ownership of basketball and baseball teams in Taiwan. However, the roster they picked up happened to be seasoned veterans from around the PCS over the years....

The LPL squad started the game brightly, securing key kills in the early exchanges of the game. As the mid-game progressed, both teams were happy to trade objectives. EDward Gaming is now tied with T1 for first place. EDward Gaming has eliminated Cloud9 from Worlds 2022, being the first NA team to do so. That win now puts EDG tied with T1 for first place. They will have a chance to go ahead shortly in their next match against Fnatic. Four of the five members kept perfect KDAs with Tian “Meiko” Ye being the sole casualty. This meant that he took part in almost 90 per cent of the team’s total kills....

One such player who was instrumental in dictating C9’s tempo and aggression was Robert “Blaber” Huang. Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami was another player who deserved recognition for his plays on Ornn. Overall, C9 were near-flawless in their win over Fnatic. Their communication, timing, and teamwork were what set the tone for the day....

The PCS are out of Worlds 2022. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. There was a reason why Gen.G was so dominant all throughout the LCK Summer Split. For what it was worth, it didn’t seem like the same CFO from a week before. 100T will be playing a doubleheader against Royal Never Give Up and Gen.G.

The PCS is coming up in the world. That win was the LCS' second loss of the day with only Evil Geniuses left versus JD Gaming. It was a real bloodbath from the early game on with both teams going for kills when necessary. This showed just how well CFO’s team fighting was with all the cores getting in on the action. He finished the game with 10 kills and zero deaths on his Worlds 2022 group stage debut....

Istanbul Wildcats suffered a major loss to end Day 2. Istanbul Wildcats on the other hand, now has three major losses to bear moving forward. Both teams had something to prove here, but Wildcats had much more to lose. Istanbul Wildcats scored the games first kill, giving the team a good head start. To Wildcats credit, the team refused to just roll over and take the loss early. It continued to exploit DRXs positioning and poke into objectives to varying levels of success....
