The LEC champions break their previous records at Worlds 2022. Rogue easily dispatched Top Esports to top Group C while also going undefeated with a 3-0 score. The early game was fairly even between both teams with neither willing to give way. Rogue took an early lead but it didn’t last long before TES caught up. But this didn’t stop Rogue. Rogue soon retreated to claim their second drake and fourth overall in the game....

Half an hour in, things looked dire for MAD. The final match of the day sees DRX go up against Istanbul Wildcats!

Breathe took the first kill of the game against GENs Doran, and GEN lost Chovy shortly after. GEN leaped onto Breathe, but Breathe managed to take Ruler with him on his way out. This was one of the more one-sided matches weve seen today. With GEN wiped out, the MSI champions seized an easy victory....

Image: LoL Esports Istanbul Wildcats has been sent home after a 0-4 losing streak at the Play-ins. Gala was unstoppable nearing the 20-minute mark, hunting down enemies across the map. RNG picked up another dragon uncontested, setting the team up to wipe out Wildcats in the endgame. A player has never chanelled for his life so hard after a fight today. RNG poked into the base again half an hour in and this time successfully took the Nexus....

Day 1 of Worlds 2022 came to a climactic end with Saigon Buffalo and DRX emerging victorious. Both DRX and Buffalo have kicked off their Worlds 2022 runs with a win each. Saigon Buffalo went up against Istanbul Wildcats in the penultimate match of the day. Wildcats proceeded to get a kill against Saigons Froggy, giving the team a 2-1 killcount very early on. Saigon made up for it by playing aggressively, fishing for kills and gold at every opportunity....

The VCS contingent has sent a strong message to the LLA. However, their upcoming opponents will be DRX. Isurus' next match will only be tomorrow where they will also face RNG. Both SBG and Isurus were constantly trading kills whenever they clashed. The first real teamfight broke out when Isurus dived toward Shogun who was slightly out of position. Luckily, the rest of SBG was nearby to back him up....

Image: Riot Games T1 will now go up against JD Gaming in the semifinals. T1 has ensured that Royal Never Give Ups Worlds 2022 journey would go no further than the quarterfinals today. With this win, T1 has avoided the Worlds 2022 semifinals from turning into an all-LPL affair. The first game saw both teams hit the ground running. T1 won this one. The second game of the day was very much the opposite of the first....

T1 came out on top in its first Group Stage match against EDward Gaming. Faker and Zeus made a fierce duo here, scoring a double kill and rolling into a killing spree. 20 minutes in, this was turning into a one-sided match. EDG still hadnt taken down any turrets yet. T1 will next go up against Fnatic, while EDG takes on Cloud9 tomorrow.

Another all-LCK grand final in the world championship. JDG also started the series on the front foot, taking out T1 with their hyper-aggressive play style. Unfortunately, JD could not keep the momentum on their side. With the series tied 1-1, it was the perfect time for Faker’s Ryze to finally step up. Gumayusi also had another amazing game on Lucian, picking up another seven kills in game three.

It isn’t looking so good for the LCS. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case thus far. Cloud9, 100 Thieves, and Evil Geniuses arecurrently dead last in their respective groupswith a 0-3 scoreline. But if history is any indication, C9 could be the only team to make it through. However, they’ve never made it past the quarterfinals on five separate occasions. 2018 was C9 best year as that was the only time they made it to the semifinals....

Almost an all-Eastern affair. The Worlds 2022 playoff stage kicks off with the quarterfinals being held in Madison Square Garden, New York. This comes after a gruelling eight-day group stage bracket that saw mostly the LPL and LCK teams pull through. Having already played one another across the entire season, this will only be the third best-of-five between them. The first was in the LCK Spring Split finals where DWG swept Gen....

JD Gaming now leads Group B at 2-0. Top Esports and Rogue share the top group C spot with 1-0 each. GAM couldnt come back from taking so many losses, but Top had little trouble clinching a win here. Next up was JD Gaming versus DWG. Tomorrow, well see Top Esports take on DRX in the last match of the day. JDG will face off against G2 Esports on October 11....
