The VCT Masters Shanghai is upon us and here is everything you will need to know.
It will be held in two different locations: the Valo Arena and the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
The 400-seater indoor arena is located near the famed Huangpu River that flows through Shanghai.
All matches will be played at the Valo Arena except for the last three days of the tournament.
That will be at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, which also overlooks the river in the Pudong district of Shanghai.
All matches in the Swiss Stage are a best-of-three with the first round already being drawn.
Teams that lose two rounds in a row will be eliminated from Masters Shanghai.
Out of the eight teams in the Swiss Stage, only four will make it to the next phase.
Those will be a best-of-five.
And of course, the playoffs will be a double-elimination bracket.
This will be the upper bracket final, the lower bracket final, and the grand finals.
This is especially crucial for teams at Masters Shanghai that have yet to win any VCT Points.
