Ringmaster was touted to the Dota 2 community at TI12 in 2023.
But it took nearly a year since his reveal for the hero to brace the game in August 2024.
When the hero was released, he didnt seem anything like what most would have expected.
There was no connection toPuppet Masterfrom Heroes of Newarth.
However, Ringmaster seemed interesting in his own right.
But that was a week since his release.
It has now been two months and a week since Ringmaster entered the fray.
Is he still as interesting a choice in pubs as he was back then?
Sadly, it seems like the circus has left the two without its newest member.
Ringmasters numbers have plummeted, especially since the release of Dota 2 patch 7.37d.
So why has this happened over the course of two months?
He was slightly better than most of the heroes, as should be the case with a new hero.
But then came the nerfs in Dota 2 patch 7.37d, which was a massive blow to Ringmaster.
After his win rate fell, the pick rate started to decline too.
The issue is, however, there is very little flexibility to the hero.
All in all, the excitement around Ringmasters much awaited release was short lasted.
