As Team Heretics and Fnatic placed second, they will face-off against one another in the lower bracket semifinals.
This leaves just the summer split winner alongside one final team via championship points.
And given Excel’s run this year that included two last-place finishes during the Winter and Spring Split.
Both series will be a best-of-five with only G2 and Excel having a lower bracket to fall to.
