You play as a somewhat unhinged Major officer called Sergei Nechaev, though he mostly goes by P-3.
Theyre killing people, and who couldve seen that coming?
Atomic Heart has one of the most impressive opening acts to a game I have played in recent years.
Unlike those games however, Atomic Heart’s world looks gorgeous but not quite lived in.
The regular killer robots come in close with slow attacks, leaving them vulnerable to axes and heavy attacks.
When these creatures start ganging up on you, everything goes to hell.
Guns are vastly superior.
Explore and survive
One of Atomic Hearts strengths lies in its RPG mechanics.

Verdict
I really wanted to like Atomic Heart more than I did.
Almost everything in this game feels like it could be great, if not for how half-baked it is.
The sheer spectacle of Atomic Heart’s opening hours enraptured me.
