North America and EMEA will have four competitive stages in 2024 and two international competitions. The OWCS kicks off first in NA and EMEA on March 1. Open qualifiers in Asia will start in February. After that, players will compete to make it into the two international in-person events this year....

This season, all heroes are getting their health pools buffed to reduce their reliance on Support players. These changes include larger health pools for every hero along with bigger projectile sizes for ranged heroes. All heroes are also getting a passive healing ability, and melee fighters are getting their damage buffed too....

This includes a battlepass system which seems almost pay-to-win at time, overly priced micro-transactions, terrible match-making systems, unpunished cheaters, and even unbalanced heroes....
With the transition to Overwatch 2, Blizzard seems to have doubled down on selling these cosmetics. This time around however, they will cost you a pretty penny.
Other new cosmetic types include deployable banners and weapon charms. The game will launch in early access with PvP only, and past seasonal game modes like Junkensteins Revenge. Gameplay-wise, Junker Queen is poised to make the lives of Support players just that much harder. Carnage is a big damage-dealing ability where Junker Queen slams down on opponents with an axe. Commanding Shout lets her buff nearby teammates speed and armour.
Overwatch 2is officially launching as a free-to-play game on October 4, 2022. It also features slimmed-down 5v5 teams with one less Tank than the original game. What this early access launch will not include, however, is Overwatch 2s story-heavy PvE multiplayer component. From the madness of Junkertown also comes a new hero: Junker Queen. In-game, the character rules over Junkertown in Australia, overseeing bloody battles in a gladiatorial arena. Notably, Wrecking Ball fought in this arena after landing on Earth....
Blizzard Entertainmenthas announced an unexpected new feature forOverwatch 2s next season:the return of 6v6 matches. Two 6v6 tests will be held in Season 14. In the middle of Season 13, Overwatch 2 will introduce a new game mode called Kingmaker. More information on these modes will be available closer to their launch period.
Overwatch 2might be returning to 6v6 gameplay following a lengthy series of upcoming tests. This includes testing different forms of 6v6 in the game to gauge the results. The change is meant to address teamwork problems during game matches - namely, the lack of it. The reliance on teammates can simultaneously be one of the best and worst attributes of our game. This allows Roadhog to play better at medium range than before, albeit with a lower damage-per-shot total. This is one ofOverwatch 2s smaller events,as it doesnt consist of voicelines or a new game mode. What it does add are a bunch of new cosmetics in the form of Player Icons and Name Cards.
When I say bombard, I mean that in the most Oppenheimer-esque sense of the word. Only 3,000 of those reviews are positive. Steam reviews tell a different story.
