M5 may be behind us, but we are still reeling from that amazing grand final which broke viewership records for MLBB and the M-Series itself. On December 17th, 2023, we were all treated to a grand finale of epic proportions at the M5 World Championship in the Philippines. The tournament itself spanned over a period of a little over three weeks and included a Wildcard Tournament for the first time in the history of the M-Series, a Group Stage, which featured teams from Mongolia, Nepal, and even China, and a superb knockout stage which saw the home-ground advantage coming in strong for AP....

With a home-ground advantage at the M5 World Championship, AP.Bren is ready to put themselves back on the global stage and dominate. This year at theM5 World Championship, we have already seen some big changes, such as the addition of the Wildcard Tournament and the return of the CIS region to international Mobile Legends: Bang Bang events. However, one of the biggest returns is that ofAP.Bren, who have been missing from the M-Series ever since the victory of Bren Esports all the way back at M2....

Group A contains four such teams, and there is a very clear stand-out here.

Triple Esports heads into the M5 World Championship as the Middle East & North Africa representative, ready to put the region on the map. Coming into their first-ever M-Series event,Triple Esportsis looking to show the world that Saudi Arabia is ready to take over the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World. While GX Squad did enter the M3 World Championship, they were one of the first teams eliminated and Triple has a chance to go much farther after they became champions of MPL MENA for the first time....

With no draw possible between the two, fans worldwide can see which is the better team between them. The MPL Singapore Season 8 winner, NIP Flash, will also meet Cambodia’s finest in CFU Gaming. Team Spirit, the champion of MCC Season 4, will faceMaycam Evolvefrom MPL LATAM. The best from MENA,Twisted Minds, collide withTeam Vamosfrom MPL Malaysia. Perhaps the most unpredictable matchup in the tournament will be between the winner of Wildcard and BloodThirsty Kings....

Sales for the M6 World Championship early bird tickets officially go live on October 5th, 12:00 PM GMT+8! Early bird ticket sales will run until October 7th, 12:00 AM GMT+8 or until sold out. Fans can choose from ticket options such as Epic, Legend, and Mythic. Meanwhile, theGrand Finals Dayis scheduled for December 15th, 5:00 PM GMT+8. The M6 World Championship will don a new format for the first elimination....

However, Falcon Esports picked the surprise Roger to engage the backline of NIP Flash. However, Falcon Esports maximised the utility provided by the Luo Yi to pressureKeith Vanix Limmultiple times. It was a game to forget for the gold laner, as his presence wasnt felt at all. Falcon Esports went on to finish game two under 15 minutes for a clean 2-0 series win. A quick look at the draft showed that both teams still have some tricks up their sleeves....

Fnatic ONIC PH drafted a really tanky lineup for the first game of the series with Fredrinn and Faramis. Moreover, they also picked Irithel to form an extremely snowball-centric lineup. Falcon Esports countered by picking Karrie a hero that needed a lot of farm to come online. The second game was not much different, though it did last longer. Ultimately, Fnatic ONIC PH simply outclassed Falcon Esports to take a commanding 2-0 series lead....

Only six teams remain in the M6 World Championship after day three of the Knockout Stage. However, only one team can progress further into the stage. Spirit’s obscure pick for their mid lane was their answer to Vamos Hayabusa and Cecilion. The pick worked perfectly, as Joy had an insane amount of damage and wave-clear. The Petty Thief disrupted the enemy backline while the Granger melted the frontline. Vamos simply didnt have an answer for Joy, which cost them the first game....

Both teams have exceeded everyones expectations for them in M6, particularly Falcon Esports. When facing Team Vamos, Spirit coach Vrendon Vren Lin picked a very unorthodox lineup with three junglers. However, in the first game against Falcon Esports, the draft was very tame in comparison. Vren picked Belerick forStanislav SAWO Reshniakand Bane forAlexander Oneshot Sharkovin response to Falcons Phoveus and Alpha. The plan to grind downAr Royal Milk Karworked perfectly, as the EXP Laner couldnt maximise Phoveus utility....

The developer also teased another region for Wild Card, which has yet to be determined. The 16 teams competing in M6 hail from all across the world. The venue was the same place where the first World Championship, the M1 World Championship, took place. Its first edition was held in 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
