Our final countdown towards the M4 World Championship has begun, with our predictions for each of the four groups leading us to Jakarta, Indonesia. In only two days, the M4 World Championship will kick off with its Group Stage, as the 16 teams begin their battle to become the victors. While there are some fairly obvious favourites for the event, there are just as many underdogs and unknown teams which are sure to throw a spanner into the works for everyone....

Today saw the M4 World Championships get underway, with a string of best-of-one games from the Group Stage. Even so, Incendio would play a second game today, fighting against Falcon Esports. The Swordfish quickly tore through Malvinas, leaving them with a tied 1-1 record on Day 1.
Every single member of the Falcon roster knew their role, even against some comfort picks from Blacklist. It was all about Naomis Franco, with the Iron Hooks absolutely decimating Blacklist when they least expected it. Both teams battled back and forth for 20-minutes, with each finding amazing teamfights and pickoffs too. Tomorrow will see the culmination of Group C and D possibly with much more excitement.
Incendio Supremacy, deemed one of the underdogs of the M4 World Championships, has caused the biggest upsets of the event thus far. Incendio Supremacy missed out on reaching the upper bracket due to tiebreakers, and now are really getting into their stride, albeit in the lower bracket. The Turkish roster, which managed to take a single game victory over Falcon Esports during the Group Stage, breezed past MDH Esports in the first round of the lower bracket but would have a much tougher task against the MPL MY champions, Team HAQ....
