The LEC has been dominated by G2 Esports this season. This will be the first time G2 and BDS face-off against one another in a best-of-five series. However, this will also be the first-ever best-of-five series to feature both teams. Whether or not MAD has a plan against the most improved team in the LEC remains to be seen. EG did make a run at get themselves back into it but was always second-best for the most part. Paper Rex was, on paper, the favoured team in this matchup. However, Paper Rex responded by winning four of the next five rounds to lead 4-3 after round 7. But G2 proved this was their series to win after they five-straight rounds to exit the first half. While Paper Rex managed to take round 20, G2 surgically closed out the map up 13-8. Jacob valyn Batio on Harbor also pitched in with 17 kills and eight assists on a map-best 13 deaths....

The victory was achieved with the team winning Inferno and Mirage, with clear dominance shown in both maps.
