Evil Geniuses will be attending their first-ever international LAN since their return to the LCS. This puts the new record of the fastest grand finals in LCS history at one hour and 18 minutes. It will be interesting to see how far EG can go with their young squad.

Evil Geniuses get its revenge over Paper Rex to become the new champions of the VCT. And EG will not only take home the VCT Champions trophy but also the million-dollar first prize. As for PRX, they will go home with $400,000 USD after their second 3-1 grand final loss. However, that lead didn’t last long as PRX went on a three-round win streak with full-buy. Ever since Jesse Jerax Vainikka joinedEvil Geniusesin December 2021, their performances have dropped a bit. But the way things panned out was completely unexpected. There was nothing exciting in EGs 2-0 win, in which both games ended before the half hour mark. Quincy Crew just failed to show up. This doesnt necessarily mean the end of the Major dream for Quincy Crew. It definitely seems Evil Geniuses have found their lost charisma in the last few weeks....

EG showed no signs of rust as they took down 4Zoomers 2-0. The first game was a comfortable win for them in just over 35 minutes. The NA juggernaut did not lose a single tier 3 tower throughout the series. Undying drop to second place.

Additionally, the team placed just 29th-32nd at ESL Pro League Season 17.

The Lower Round 1 elimination matchup’s second series setEntityagainstEvil Geniuses. Entity had nothing on the line, their TI invite hopes dashed before the event’s start. Evil Geniuses were fighting for their TI invite. And yet it still took a full three games to determine the winner. The first game saw Entity last pick a Venomamcer which seemed to have absolutely no impact on the game. Without any stuns, and having failed to snowball the lane, Entity could not lock down Evil Geniuses....

The teams here are playing only for playoffs seeding, but even that is far from being decided.
