ESL is aiming to host one of the two 2022 CS:GO Majors in Rio de Janeiro

After the original Rio tournament was cancelled in 2020, ESL is taking another chance. No venue has been confirmed or even rumoured for this Major. This will be the second of the two CS:GO Majors slated to happen this year. The first Major, scheduled for May 9-22, has no attached organizer as of today. The new deal is beginning from this year, up to IEM Katowice 2025.
