Okami sequel with Hideki Kamiya is finally in development at Capcom

The game will once again be led by original director Hideki Kamiya.

The announcement was made on Friday (December 13) atThe Game Awards 2024.

For one, the trailer retained Okamis art style.

The Celestial Brush is an important element in the original game.

Capcom also released an announcement for the game on itswebsite.

Now, a new adventure in the same vein as Okami has been set in motion.

The original release led to multiple ports, including a more recent HD release for the Switch.

Little is known about what this Okami sequel will eventually look like.
