This change accommodates a new vision from Moonton for the mid-season tournament.
However, when or where the competition will be held is still unknown.
The stakes and how many teams will be included in the tournament are also not announced.
With increased exposure, this will be a chance for other organizations to invest in theMobile Legendsesports scene.
Only teams from the aforementioned region are allowed to participate.
This creates a rift of power between Southeast Asia and other regions.
SEA-centric teams will have more experience, exposure, and opportunity than teams in other regions.
However, it’s slowly changed with the growth of MLBB outside of Southeast Asia.
The 2023 edition of MSC features three teams from outside of the region.
With the name change, it is now proper for those teams to be included in the mid-season tournament.
