Capcom shows off Monster Hunter Wilds new mechanics in three gameplay trailers.
Focus Mode essentially allows players to target enemy weak points with more precision.
For example, attacking an enemy in the same place multiple times will create open wounds.
The Focus Mode will highlight these wounds when theyre created, and attacking them will generate more damage.
The Slinger returns in this game as well, allowing players to either slingshot or gather items from afar.
Capcom states that the sword is pretty adaptable, allowing players to commit hit-and-run attacks or guard against enemies.
Monster Hunter Wilds will launch sometime in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
