Good news for Chinese fans in the mainland because VALORANT is now available to play in their region.

The announcement followed exciting content not just for the China servers but also for fans globally.

The Ignite melee skin was leaked by the popular VALORANT data miner, Mike of Valorleaks.

Although, he clarified that its release in the global server is not guaranteed.

The alleged skin drew a lot of attention from fans and everyone wanted to get their hands on it.

The new melee features a new and unique transition animation and has two colour variants.

Aside from the new melee skin, the China servers will also receive the Prime Collection 1.0.

The bundle will cost 5160 VP, which is lesser than the global version.

Fans should note that VP in China is more expensive than the global version, thus the price adjustment.

Tencent Games, the parent company of Riot Games, will distribute the popular esports title to Chinese fans.

In December 2022, the governments National Press and Publication Administration granted a license for the said distribution.

This opens up new opportunities for China to host VCT events.

VALORANT celebrated its third-anniversary last month.

The global launch dates back to June 2020 amidst the pandemic.

The game served as a new way to connect with friends as people stayed safe at home.

VALORANT also became an avenue to foster new friendships and strengthen relationships.
