MPL Indonesia Season 12 is almost upon us, with many of the teams seeing some interesting changes during the off-season.
As we are about to step into the twelfth season of the Mobile Legends Professional League in Indonesia, many of the teams have seen players moving around, as well as new players coming into their roster.
With that in mind, we take a closer look at each team and where they stand from their off-season changes with our tier rankings, and what it could mean for them in MPL ID Season 12.
RRQ A tier
While Season 11 may not have been great for RRQ, the team made some of the biggest roster changes during the off-season, with three additions which we have to focus on.
Alter Ego B tier
AEs Season 11 was a great comeback for the team to the podium, but they are hoping to challenge for the title again in Season 12 with their additions.
AURA Fire C tier
AURA lost some of their biggest players during the off-season, while their gains were mainly from their Blaze roster.
EVOS Legends A tier
The White Tigers had an amazing Season 11 and have bolstered their roster with a few new faces going into Season 12.
Onic Esports S tier
Having won the recent MSC 2023, ONIC needed no changes to their roster, but decided to bring in a new player anyway.
Geek Fam ID C tier
The off-season saw a few players leaving GF, while they also went ahead and dropped their Slate Esports partnership too.
One of the biggest aspects we are watching, is Hadess moving back to the Philippines, on loan to Blacklisst International.
Bigetron Alpha B tier
The Robots have not really been at the top of their game for some time, and their singular new addition to the roster looks to completely change that.
Rebellion Zion D tier
While Season 10 proved to be something special for RBG, Season 11 was another poor showing, which does not bode well for the team as Season 12 approaches.
The teams main addition comes from their Sinai roster, while they also hope that a completely new face could bring them hope.
Dewa United Esports D tier
For DUE, we do not have a lot of information to go on when it comes to the MPL, since this will be their first season involved.
On paper the team do bring some strong challenges to the table, but whether they can match the strength of MPL ID remains to be seen.
MPL ID Season 12 begins on July 13, 2023, with the now 9 teams all set for their battles in Week 1.
Another change coming into the tournament will see it showcasing a 4-day play week, beginning now on Thursdays and running through to Sundays, as they cater for the extra team.
With the region now making its way back above the PH as the best in MLBB, Season 12 is set to be absolutely invigorating.
