It will be the end of the road for two more teams.
For the first elimination series, things were rather quick.
LGDhad been poised to be a legitimate contender at the event.
They ended their group stage with the first seed and showcased much potential.
But after falling toBetBoomyesterday in a 2:0 sweep, they just couldn’t seem to pull things together.
Team Spirit, on the other hand, were clearly looking to redeem themselves in the lower brackets.

The first match between these two was a very one-sided stomp.
LGD was ahead of Team Spirit early on.
They had a high execution draft and hesitated a bit to be aggressive.
Team Spirit used that to their advantage, capitalizing on LGD’s reluctance.
Excelling at aggression, Team Spirit made quick work of the Chinese team.
In the second match Team Spirit once again absolutely shellacked LGD.
Not only was LGD’s draft not on par, but they also got significantly outplayed.
Once again, Yatoro was the MVP, this time making it look like a cakewalk on Sven.
They will compete in the Games of the Future set to begin on February 19th.
