With GTA 6 slated for a Fall 2025 release, it looks like PC players are going to have to wait a little bit longer.

With GTA 6 finally confirmed for a release after 12 long years of waiting, its looking like the game is expected to be console-exclusive until a PC version is eventually released.

Rockstar Games, the studio behind GTA, has a notorious reputation for not releasing PC versions of their games on the same day as console, making the wait that much more excruciating for excited PC fans.

In a statement to IGN, parent company Take-Twos CEO Strauss Zelnick pointed out that Rockstars lineup doesnt always go across all platforms simultaneously, emphasising that Rockstar has started with some platforms and then historically moved them to other platforms.

Given that thereisa confirmation for PC, the only thing that players will need to worry about is just how long exactly do they have to wait to finally get the chance to jump back into the world of GTA.

Considering the Fall 2025 release, theres a likely chance that GTA 6s PC version will arrive in the earlier parts of 2026, as long as there wont be any underlying issues or hiccups to account for.

Heres to hoping!

In the same article, Zelnick affirmed the growing importance of the PC platform over the console, stating that: We have seen PC become much more and more important part of what used to be a console business, and I wouldnt be surprised to see that trend continue.
