Gen.G Esports create history with their first LCK title after defeating T1 in the grand finals

The fourth time’s the charm for Gen.G Esports.

For the first time in the organisation’s history, Gen.G Esports are finally LCK champions.

They defeated T1 in the grand finals of the LCK Summer Split in an impressive 3-0 sweep.

The team went 17-1 during the group stages with their only loss coming against (you guessed it!)

However, it was Peanut who ended up claiming the Finals MVP award.

His amazing jungle plays were crucial in throwing T1 off their tempo and keeping them on their toes.

As for T1, they will also be heading to Worlds with their championships points.
