Fortnites first 5v5 mode is launching this week.

Epic Games has announced a new 5v5 mode forFortnite, and its launching later this week.

The mode is launching on December 11 in early access with just one map called Skyline 10.

Heres how it works: players will be sorted into two teams of five; attackers and defenders.

To win, a team has to win seven rounds in total.

After six rounds, teams will swap sides to keep things fresh.

Each round begins with players having 800 Credits to spend and a Ranger Pistol to use.

Much like Counter-Strike, they can spend each round buying new gear to even the odds against their enemies.
