I have used a wide range of computer products from various brands and non-brands.

Im going to give you a detailed comparison between EVGA and GIGABYTE in this article.

Before starting the comparison, I must say you really have some excellent taste in computer components brands.

Without any further due, lets dig into the comparison.

Background Story of EVGA

EVGA is a USA-based computer and hardware manufacturer established in 1999.

It didnt take that long to become one of the best NVIDIA-based graphics card manufacturers.

EVGA is among the first companies that introduced factory overclocked GPUs.

Then they joined the Intel chipset-based motherboard manufacturing back in 2009 with their X58 SLI motherboard.

EVGA has spent the last decade polishing its products, making innovations, and expanding its product lineup.

Now they offer power supplies, liquid coolers, and computer cases.

EVGA also offers computer accessories like gaming mice, keyboards, headsets, etc.

I believe you have no idea that they are even in the tablet and gaming laptop manufacturing field.

EVGAs willingness to take risks is appreciable.

They took risks and didnt stop even after producing some unsuccessful products.

EVGA is a private company, so they dont publish their financial or organizational data.

Currently, EVGA has eight different locations and more than 250 employees working for them.

They also have a long list of manufacturing partners working with them.

Background Story of GIGABYTE

GIGABYTE is a Taiwanese manufacturer of computer hardware and components.

The business was established in 1986.

However, they had a vision for the future.

As the name suggests, gigabytes may sound minor in the current generation.

We take terabytes as a bare minimum for pc storage.

But back in the 80s, gigabyte sounded like science fiction.

So they had that vision when a gigabyte was in peoples imaginations.

GIGABYTE was a boutique computer hardware firm at the beginning.

They started their hunt from the motherboard sector but had the vision to conquer the tech industry.

GIGABYTE has collaborated with a number of companies to create specialized PCs, server racks, and connection equipment.

GIGABYTE loves to take risks.

Like EVGA, their products also flopped.

But considering their core business and global reach, absorbing the loss is not a big deal for them.

But there is one sector where GIGABYTE is different from EVGA.

GIGABYTE is a publicly traded company.

So, people get information about the companys financial and operational revenue.

GIGABYTE has a sub-brand named Aorus.

They have more than 2600 employees working for them now.

In terms of company size and history, GIGABYTE pulls a point here.

EVGA and GIGABYTE both produce excellent build quality PC components.

For GPUs, GIGABYTE makes both NVIDIA and AMD cards, while EVGA only makes NVIDIA cards.

In the past, EVGA and GIGABYTE produced and sold many of the same products.

GPU is the sector where these two companies shine like stars.

Both companies have the same series of GPUs with their own customization and features.

And it is really hard to decide one over another.

Im considering the top-end NVIDIA 3090Ti graphics card from both manufacturers for a detailed comparison.

Changes come at fan numbers, build quality, base and boost clock speeds, cooling system, etc.

However, GIGABYTE is not far behind.

Looking at the current pricing, GIGABYTE is slightly lower than the EVGA cards.

If you consider value for money, then GIGABYTE is the winner here.

They will repair and replace your card if it has any defects.

Both companies are highly reputed for their warranty policies.

However, EVGA pulls ahead with a small but effective clause.

If you want to sell your GPU to someone else, the warranty will be transferred to their name.

This clause is named asTransferable Limited Warranty clause.

Verdict: For the warranty segment, EVGA is the winner.

Customer Support

EVGAs customer support is excellent compared to GIGABYTE.

Its because EVGA is an American company.

So its support team is formed by American staff.

Im not defaming GIGABYTE at all.

It also has good customer support.

However, sometimes the customer service teams dont get available.

And this is quite frustrating when you are seeking help.

Verdict: EVGA is the clear winner here.

The difference comes in the cooling, build quality, and overclocking department.

So if you are an American and NVIDIA is your preferred card, you should go for EVGA.

Thanks for reading this article.

Hopefully, your doubts are gone now.

Now, go and get your desired GPU and start crashing the game!
