We take a look at how good the reworked Aghanims Scepters from Dota 2 patch 7.34 are.
Here, we rate the reworked Scepters of patch 7.34 on a scale of 0 to 10.
A rating of 10 means you pretty much have to get it every game.
LITTLE FRIENDS: Now granted by Aghanim’s Scepter.
Enchantress Aghanims Shard upgrades have been moved to her Aghanims Scepter (and vice versa).
SPIRIT LINK: Now upgradable by Aghanim’s Scepter.
Armor sharing and attack speed bonuses are increased by 35%.
Damage done by the ally heals Lone Druid, as well as the other way around.
The Spirit Bear is feared for the duration of the transformation unless it has its own Aghanim’s Scepter.
Cooldown: 40s; Mana Cost: 50.
There are two Aghanims Scepters for Lone Druid one for the hero and one for the Spirit Bear.
The Spirit Bears Scepter is the old one, which does away with its leash radius.
Take that away, and the heros identity is lost.
Morphling (6/10)
MORPH: Aghanim’s Scepter Upgrade reworked.
Adds an alternative cast to Morph.
The Scepter replicate can still use all non-ultimate abilities.
Is it worth the 4200 gold?
Probably not in most games.
Centaur Warrunner (7/10)
WORK HORSE: New ability granted by Aghanim’s Scepter.
The Work Horse goes on cooldown once the cart disappears.
Mana Cost: 75; Cooldown: 30s (unchanged from the previous Upgrade).
Centaur Warrunners popularity in this meta will come from the change to Hoof Stomp, more than anything.
Scepter Time to Frostbite increased from 1.75s to 2.5s.
Crystal Maidens new Scepter is basically a combination of her old Aghanims Scepter and old Aghanims Shard.
In a way, this is good as it saves 1400 gold for the entire package.
Maybe it is time for mid Crystal Maiden?!
Only in unranked pubs perhaps.
Spectre (7/10)
HAUNT: Now granted by Aghanim’s Scepter.
Her item build will adapt accordingly.
Now, that is an innate ability.
200 seconds is a long cooldown for a 4200 gold item.
Items like Manta Style, Blade Mail and Orchid Malevolence are more beneficial on her.
Necrophos (8/10)
HEARTSTOPPER AURA: Now upgradable by Aghanim’s Scepter.
Health Decay is increased by 60% of Necrophos’s current health regeneration.

Bristleback (9/10)
BRISTLEBACK: Now upgradable by Aghanim’s Scepter.
Allows Bristleback to be point-targeted.
Mana Cost: 100; Cooldown: 20s.
The new one isnt bad either, and it gives the hero another avenue.
Bristleback (the skill) can be activated along with Bloodstone to get an insane amount of healing.
Its an interesting Scepter to experiment with.
Damage is pure and the slow pierces debuff immunity.
Ice Wall Width: 80; Slow Linger Duration: 0.4s.
The best Aghanims Scepter upgrade to come out of Dota 2 patch 7.34!
The best part, perhaps, is that the slow from the ice walls pierces debuff immunity.
The item has a 61.91% win rate even with an extremely high pick rate.
Popular Dota 2 streamer Janne Gorgc Stefanovski definitely thinks it is a strong change in favor of Jakiro.
