Blizzard Entertainment has finally shown off gameplay for its upcoming Spiritborn character class.

In practice, the Spiritborn is fairly similar to Diablo 3s Monk, as a martial arts class.

That doesnt mean they actually summon animals in combat, however.

This class is geared towards fast-moving, damage-dealing gameplay, armed to the teeth with movement and evasive skills.

Each of the aforementioned animal Spirit Guardians represents a different aspect of this class ability kit.

For example, upgrading skills relating to the Jaguar will make players faster in both movement and attack speed.

The Gorilla on the other hand, makes them tankier by reducing damage through constant blocking.

The Eagle allows players to move around the battlefield freely and evade enemy attacks.

In this case, youll either choose one Spirit Guardian or try being a jack-of-all-trades.

Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred launches on October 8, 2024.
