DarkZero Esports clinches the ALGS Championship after a nine-match grand final series

Oceania is the king of Apex Legends.

Of course, DarkZero was formerly known as Reignite, which won the Split 2 Playoffs with a stand-in.

With that win, DarkZero takes home the ALGS world championship trophy and US$500,000.

FURIA Esports end their tournament campaign in second place despite being the first team to reach match-point.

100Thieves rounds up the top three after being one of the more consistent teams during the tournament.

They take home US$200,000 for their troubles while also restoring pride to the rest of North America.

Instead, the ALGS Championship saw nine matches being played in the grand finals with nine teams on match-point.

FURIA were the first to be match-point eligible but they, unfortunately, could not close out the series.

Despite coming in second, FURIA was the highest-scoring team with 85 points in the entire lobby.

But through it all, DarkZero managed to climb themselves back from the brink of defeat on multiple occasions.
