World of Warcrafts next expansion The War Within launches this August.
Blizzard Entertainmentshighly-anticipatedWorld of Warcraft: The War Withinexpansion has set an official release date.
The expansion will launch on August 26, 2024 on PC, kicking off the MMORPGs three-part Worldsoul Saga.
This is the first expansion to launch under returning executive creative director Chris Metzen.
The gigantic sword the Titan Sargeras left in Azeroth is also going to be dealt with at long last.
Gameplay-wise, the expansion will introduce a new cross-character progression system called Warbands and bite-sized dungeon runs called Delves.
New locations and characters are also expected.
The Last Titan will be the culmination of this three-part Worldsoul Saga, taking players to Northrend.
