Amazon announces Lord of the Rings MMORPG from New World developers

Amazon Games is officially makinga new MMORPG set in the world of J.R.R.

Tolkiens fantasy epic The Lord of the Rings.

This likely means that it wont pull from any of the Tolkien Estates supplementary works, like the Silmarillion.

This untitled MMO will be released on PC and consoles, though exact platforms were not detailed.

It makes sense that Amazon is doubling down on making a Lord of the Rings MMO happen.

No release date has been confirmed for the upcoming Lord of the Rings MMO.
