A total of 16 teams around the world are set for the upcoming $1,000,000 DreamLeague Season 22.
The tournament will be held online, but will have all the participating teams heading to bootcamps across Europe next month to compete against each other from February 25 to Match 10.
Last year,when ESL One introduced the ESL Pro Tour (EPT) to Dota 2 as well, the DreamLeague tournaments became a part of it, meaning that each season is awarding the teams not only a substantial prize in money, but also EPT points.
With each ESL event, theEPT Leaderboarddetermines who gets a direct invite to the next EPT event and who has to go through open and/or closed qualifiers.
For this upcoming season of DreamLeague, four teams secured their spots via EPT points.Gaimin Gladiators,Team Liquid,BetBoom TeamandXtreme Gamingwere spared from the qualifier process while 12 more teams made their way through regional qualifier matches.

DreamLeague Season 22 prize pool and EPT points distribution
A total of three DreamLeague events will be part of the 2024 ESL Pro Tour as well as two ESL One LAN tournaments.
DreamLeague Season 21 and ESL One Kuala Lumpur which took place towards the end of 2023 were already a part of the current EPT.
The upcomingDreamLeague Season 22and ESL One Birmingham will determine which teams will secure a direct invite to this years Riyadh Masters event.
