Team Aster defeated OG 2-1 in an enthralling series to secure top 3 at the PGL Arlington Major. The reigning Major champions will have to settle for 4th place. OG started the day with a 2-1 winoverbeastcoastto secure their place in the top 4. They would have to make it past Team Aster to make it to the last day. OGvsTeam Aster Game 1 was perhaps the most straight forward game of the series....

A draw of one game each. And at the end of the group stage, these two teams came out in 1st and 2nd respectively. In all seriousness, Team Aster went with a lane-dominant draft and last-pick Luna. Team Secret went with lots of disables. Team Aster advance to the grand finals scheduled for tomorrow, August 28th at 10:00 CEST.

The playoffs weekend of ESL One Berlin Major kicked off with three lower bracket elimination series. SumaiLwas standing in for Zhai “Xwy” JingkaiZhai “Xwy” who became inactive for the time being. Team AstervsTeam Liquid0:2 The first game was fairly even between the two teams. Team Liquid completely had Team Aster sorted out in the second game. Micha “Nisha” Jankowski had a perfect game on Queen of Pain with a 14:0:11 record....

But before heading into the short vacation,Team Astermade sure they had more reasons to celebrate. They are the first team across all six regions to have claimed a spot at the Major so far. 9Pandas saved the day for the Eastern Europe region as Bali Major heads into the Main Event.

The LEC will have four teams in the Swiss stage after a dramatic finish for Team BDS. Even Chun-chia “Junjia” Yu played his role to perfection with his Maokai getting 10 assists. However, Maple ended the game with nine kills on Akali while both Wako and Woody had three apiece. But it was Jus “Crownie” Marusic who stole the show. It was a low-score affair as neither team was willing to take the risk....

Eight teams are left in the LEC Spring Split group stage. They are joined byExcel Esportsas the two teams to be eliminated during the regular season. Only the top two teams from each group will move on to the playoffs. As for the teams that finished in second, they will meet one another in the lower bracket semifinals. And even after said losses, BDS has still managed to top the regular season leaderboard....

Team BDS was the biggest winner after week two of the LEC Winter Split. All the first and second round of matches will be a best-of-three while the rest are a best-of-five.

LEC stands tall once more as Team BDS triumphed over Golden Guardians. The highly-anticipated series took place earlier today as BDS produced an entirely dominant performance in all three games. Group B will start the day after with BDS going up against Team Whales.
